This collection consists of two photographs of an unknown family circa late 1930s who lived at 746 East Cordova until 1942. The unknown family and the Kor family were good friends before the Second World War.

 

biography

 

Cecil Bains' parents are Dalwari Singh and Nahal Kor. Prior to 1942, Cecil's mother Nahal Kor lived along Marine Drive; Vancouver, B.C. Nahal Kor passed away in 1975. Dalwari Singh worked at the Dominion Mills alongside other Japanese Canadians prior to 1942.
