scope and content | The collection consists of lists of Japanese Canadians who occupied internment camps during the Second World War. The lists are arranged by internment camp; the simpler lists contain only the name of individuals from Lemon Creek, Popoff and Bay Farm (Bay Farm however has the addition of a hand drawn map). The more complex lists are Greenwood, Sandon, Kaslo, Slocan City and New Denver and include categories like name, age, year, years in Canada, place of birth, sex, spouse, cause of death, occupation. An additional set of lists created by Watson in December 2017 include a list of those who died in Tashme. |
