The boys in the first row from left to right are identified as: Nobuyuki (Nobby) Kadohama; Dick Kumamoto; Eddie Ando, and Karou Ishikawa or Eugene Nishimura. The boys in the back row from left to right are Tom (Tommy) Morikawa (tall boy at the very back); and Yasushi Nishimura (or possibly Bob (Bobby) Kumamoto). The first boy (Nobuyuki Kadohama) to the left of the first row is depicted wearing a short sleeve white shirt with dark coloured shorts - revealing his knees. He is shown with his hand on his hip. On the far right is a boy (Karou Ishikawa or Eugene Nishimura) wearing a tie and cloth over his hand, along with dark coloured shorts and long striped pattern socks. There is a goal post behind the boys, protruding from the grass field. In the distance is a wooden building, located slightly behind the the the boy wearing a white short-sleeve shirt. The building reveals a window beneath its triangular roof. In the background is a thicket of trees. On the far right protrudes a small section of a wooden structure.
