descriptionBlack & white outdoor photograph of group of twelve in Morioka, Japan, c.1921. Five are dressed in patterned kimono; one of the five is holding a baby. The remaining six are wearing full suit and tie; three are standing with hands in pockets, wearing newsboy caps while the other three are kneeling, holding their caps and jackets in their arms. There are two knotted bags filled with fruit or vegetables sitting on the ground in front of them. Photograph is annotated in blue pen with "'Farewell' Morioka Japan". Identified in the photograph in the front row, third from the left, is George Iga.
