| scope and content | This collection consists of 11 photographs and various items covering topics of the Tsushima Family, Ushi Doshi Celebrations, Japanese Language School Gakuyukai, the Roseberry Internment Camp (originally owned by Miyo Masaki), Tashme, Lemon Creek Harmonica Band, and Family Documents that have been donated by George Tsushima. There are three series within this collection that have items under alternative accession numbers:

| biography | George Tsushima was born in 1923 to Chuzo and Iku Tsushima, who owned a confectionary shop.
He married Ayako (née Naruse) in 195X. Together, they had 4 children; Steven, Richard (Denise), Robert, and Susan (Anton).
His siblings were Yuki Kondo (Harry) [2011-299, 2016-16], Keiko Ohashi (Victor), George Tsushima (Aya) [2010-72-6, 2011-298, 2016-16, 2020.05.01], Yoshiko (Roy) Nagami and Sachiko Joyce (Joe) Matsumoto [2025-09]. |
