The image shows a group of six Japanese Canadian young men, five of whom wear matching basketball uniforms, standing front to back in a row. The uniform worn by the five young men consists of a tank top with a white band around the middle and stylized "M," shorts, and sneakers. The young man on the left who does not wear a uniform wears a white dress shirt and slacks. The young man on the far right end of the row holds and trophy cup in both hands. The group stands with their hands on their hips, and legs askance. The photo was taken outside, in fronted of a wood-sided building painted white, with wood outer stairs visible on the right-hand side.

 


 

From left to right, the young men are identified as Mooney Miike, Jinx Miike, Mush Fukumoto, Curly Nakagawa, Mr Fujioka, and Sub Miike.
