description | Marlboro Plate silver teapot is very decorative with low relief patterns of flowers and vines on the body. Teapot handle is in a form of a half heart with the spout having a beak-like opening. The lid of the teapot does not come off and can only be opened one way. The lid has a wooden knob to help open the teapot. The bottom of the teapot has "G. Nakamura" inscribed at the bottom. |
history of use | This teapot has came in as an anonymous donation to the Charity shop Hob Too on Dunbar Street in Vancouver. Hob Too supports the Vancouver Hospice. |
