Recto of card includes black & white identification portrait photograph of Muriel Kitagawa wearing glasses and a v-neck blouse or dress, affixed to bottom right with two brass grommets. Card reads: "The bearer, whose photograph and specimen of signature appear hereon, has been duly registered in compliance with the provisions of Order-in-Council PC 117." Card was issued in Vancouver on June 10, 1941 by the R.C.M.P, stamped in blue ink with "CANADIAN BORN" and initialed by custodian "ARM," dated May 15, 1942. Verso of card contains Muriel's identity information, including serial no.: 10406; name: KITAGAWA (Tsukiye Muriel) Mrs. Eizaburo; address: 2751 Pender St., Vancouver, B.C.; age: 29; height: 5'2"; weight: 120; marks of identification: Scar above left corner right eyebrow; occupation: Housewife; Muriel's signature in black ink; and ink thumbprint in bottom right corner.
