This file consists of an envelope addressed to Mr. Yonezo Uyeda (Nakusp, BC) with letters related to property dispossessed from the Queensborough Japanese Language School in 1942, dating from the late 1940s. The file also includes a draft naturalization application, compiled soon after the Uyeda family moved to Nakusp in 1947, and newspaper clippings related to the Canadian government's forced internment plans.
