A draft of a letter from Midge Ayukawa to Kayo Okada in Japanese is dated September 28 and thanks Kayo for sending her book and requests to interview her, explaining that she (Midge) is interviewing Issei Japanese Canadians for her doctoral study. A letter from Kayo Okada to Midge Ayukawa tells her that he is sending her book "Michikusa-shu" upon Ayukawa's request. Mail from Kayo Okada to Midge Ayukawa (a card of cosmos and a house in the envelope) is stamped September 17, 1992, thanking her for sending tea and telling Ayukawa to feel free to visit her. |
